People ask me all the time about if they are to get a ticket, if it’s worth going to the school or doing the continuing education so that they don’t get the points on their license or on their insurance. And my answer to that is yes, always, always, always do the school.
What you can get at $150 speeding ticket can cause you three times that because it stays on your insurance record for three years. So the money that you would save by going to that little 3-hour school is enormous. So it’s definitely worth doing the insurance school.
That’s my tip for today.
