Don’t wait until a pending storm or hurricane is here and we’re all at Lowe’s or Home Depot trying to find the supplies that we need. You know, those Tapcon screws or the plywood to board your windows. Start doing little by little now and another part of that is to do an inventory of your home.
Walk through with your phone. Do a video recording. Take pictures. Store it. You can send them to your agent. We can store them because the inventory is important in a total loss situation. So if you have any questions regarding how to store those, reach out to your agent. They can help you. But again start preparing now and not wait until the last minute.
